A national platform amplifying Bangladeshi scholarship through open access, indexing, and editorial excellence.
BD Research Hub was founded on the conviction that scholarly output from low- and middle-income countries deserves the same global visibility as work published in international venues. We host 47 peer-reviewed journals across medicine, engineering, agriculture, social sciences, humanities, public health, and law — published by Bangladesh's leading universities and research institutes.
All articles are freely available under Creative Commons licenses, indexed in DOAJ, Crossref, and Google Scholar, and assigned persistent DOIs. We provide editorial training, technical infrastructure, and indexing support to journals at no cost — sustained through institutional partnerships and grant funding.
All hosted journals operate under open-access licenses. No paywalls, no embargoes, no reader fees — ever.
Every article passes double-blind review by domain experts. We support editors with workflow tools, training, and conflict-of-interest screening.
Every article gets a Crossref DOI and is preserved in the PKP Preservation Network. Designed to outlast our infrastructure.
Our advisory board includes leading academics from across Bangladesh and the diaspora, providing oversight on editorial policy, indexing strategy, and emerging research areas.
A small operational team handles editorial coordination, technical infrastructure, indexing partnerships, and author/editor support.
BD Research Hub runs on Open Journal Systems, the leading open-source platform for scholarly publishing. Developed by the Public Knowledge Project at Simon Fraser University, OJS powers more than 30,000 journals worldwide.
